Founder Mr. Phillip H. Hirth began his over 50-year maritime career in 1970 as a boarding agent with a large shipping-agency after serving 4 years in the United States Air Force. Mr Hirth stayed with the agency over 25 years, quickly working his way to Vice President. In 1995, he founded Hirth Ship Agencies with the support of 1 customer which we still proudly serve today.
Over the past 25 years, our company has grown & we have now handled vessels for hundreds of shipping companies worldwide. We have always gone the extra-mile for our clients, & our personalized-service to our customers is what sets us apart. In 2011, Mr Hirth's youngest-son David joined the company as a boarding agent after graduating college & continues his Father's legacy as the sole Owner and President of the company.
